Terms and Conditions of use for Tiarn Soul Saunas
GENERAL & MEDICAL INFORMATION
Use of the sauna, cold plunge, and associated facilities is undertaken entirely at your own risk. If you have any concerns about whether heat or cold exposure is suitable for you, we strongly recommend that you consult your GP prior to booking.
If any of the following apply to you (this list is not exhaustive), you should seek medical advice before using the sauna or cold plunge facilities:
* Pregnancy
* A history of heart attack or stroke
* Use of prescription medication
* Cardiovascular conditions or concerns
* Epilepsy
* Asthma or other respiratory conditions
* High or low blood pressure
* Arterial disease
* Joint, muscle, or soft tissue injuries
The sauna operates at very high temperatures.
For your safety, do not touch the stove, stove door, flue chimney, sauna stones, or fire guards. Water must only be poured onto the stones as instructed.
When adding water to the stones, always pour from the point furthest away from your body to reduce the risk of scalding.
Use of the cold plunge facilities is undertaken entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically capable of cold exposure and that you follow all guidance provided on site.
Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited in and around the sauna and cold plunge areas.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated.
All hanging jewellery must be removed before entering the sauna to avoid the risk of burns.
LAKE USE & SITE AWARENESS
The lake is part of an active watersports centre.
* The lake may only be used during designated lake swim sessions organised by Tiarn Soul Saunas.
* Lake access is not permitted during standard sauna sessions unless expressly stated.
* Guests must respect all other lake users at all times, including paddleboarders, windsurfers, swimmers, instructors, and safety staff.
* Guests must remain aware of watersports equipment, boats, boards, and other hazards when moving around the site.
* Running, careless movement, or interference with equipment is strictly prohibited.
Failure to follow lake safety rules or site instructions may result in removal from the premises without refund.
SAUNA ETIQUETTE & CONDUCT
All guests are required to follow sauna etiquette and staff instructions at all times, including but not limited to:
* Entering and exiting the sauna carefully
* No running anywhere on site
* Removing footwear before entering the sauna
* Sitting on a towel at all times
* Limiting sauna sessions to a maximum of 20 minutes (recommended duration is 5–15 minutes)
* Not using essential oils, skincare products, or other substances without prior permission
* Wearing appropriate swimwear at all times
* Nudity is not permitted
Failure to comply with sauna etiquette or instructions may result in being asked to leave the site without refund.
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to ensure that all participants are aware of and comply with these terms and conditions.
Tiarn Soul Saunas reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a session where any behaviour is deemed to pose a health or safety risk. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
* No persons under the age of 16 are permitted to use the sauna or cold plunge facilities under any circumstances.
* Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
* Only 1 person under 18 per adult is allowed
Valid proof of age may be requested. Failure to provide proof when asked may result in refusal of entry without refund.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK & LIABILITY
Guests are advised not to bring valuables onto the site. Tiarn Soul Saunas accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. While reasonable care is taken, safeguarding possessions remains the sole responsibility of the guest at all times.
Electronic devices and mobile phones are vulnerable to heat, moisture, and cold. Use of any electronic equipment during sauna or plunge sessions is entirely at your own risk, and Tiarn Soul Saunas accepts no liability for damage.
By attending, you grant Tiarn Soul Saunas, its representatives, and employees permission to take photographs or video footage for promotional, marketing, or online use, unless you notify us otherwise in advance.
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on site. Glass bottles or containers are strictly prohibited within the sauna, cold plunge, or surrounding areas.
ALLERGIES & INFUSIONS
The sauna environment may include the use of essential oils, salts, or herbal infusions. Participation is entirely at your own risk. If you experience any adverse reaction — including difficulty breathing or irritation to the eyes, nose, or throat — you must leave the sauna immediately.
Complimentary infusions may occasionally be offered and may contain essential oils or other natural ingredients. Use or consumption of any infusions is undertaken at your own risk.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking a session constitutes the reservation of time specifically allocated for you. We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so please read the following carefully.
Private Bookings
* Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session start time will receive a full refund to the original payment method, minus a 2.5% bank processing fee. Refunds may take 3–5 working days to process.
* Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
Social Sessions & Events
* Social sessions and events are non-refundable.
* One reschedule is permitted if requested more than 48 hours before the session start time.
* Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for refund or rescheduling. In the event of a genuine emergency, please contact us prior to cancelling and we will endeavour to accommodate where possible.
Special Occasion & Group Bookings
* Bookings such as hen parties, full-site hire, or large group sessions may be refunded in full (minus a 2.5% bank fee) if cancelled more than 14 days before the session start time.
* Cancellations or rescheduling requests within 14 days must be discussed directly with us and are non-refundable, though rescheduling may be considered at our discretion.
Late Arrivals
Late arrival will result in a reduced session duration. Full payment remains due, and session times cannot be extended to accommodate lateness.
