Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is Tiarn Soul Saunas?
Tiarn Soul Saunas is a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and enjoy the simple pleasure of heat, steam, and mindful breathing. Whether you’re here for your first sauna or a familiar ritual, our sessions help you reset and leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more present.

2. What sauna sessions do you offer?
We have two options:
-
1-hour standalone sauna sessions — perfect for a full hour of heat, steam, and breathwork.
-
30-minute sauna bolt-ons — a cozy way to warm up after or before a lake swim, organised by Bray Lake Watersports. These shorter sessions are great for beginners or anyone wanting a quick, restorative pause.
3. Do I need to book in advance?
Yes! All sessions are by booking only. This ensures the sauna remains a safe, comfortable, and exclusive space for every guest.
4. Can I use the lake?
The lake is part of an active watersports centre, so you can only swim during designated lake swim sessions. When moving around the centre, please be mindful of other lake users and their equipment — it’s all about keeping everyone safe and happy.
5. How do I safely move between cold and hot?
The contrast between cold and heat is incredibly invigorating, but it’s best to take it slowly. Step out of cold water and let your body warm naturally before heading into the sauna. Listen to your body, start with short rounds, and take breaks as needed. This helps your circulation, recovery, and nervous system work their magic.
6. What should I bring?

-
Swimwear and a towel
-
Water to stay hydrated (very important!)
-
Comfy clothes for after your session
We suggest leaving valuables at home or in your vehicle — phones and electronics can be affected by heat and moisture.

7. Are there age restrictions?
Yes — all sauna sessions are for guests 16 years and older.
8. Are there any health considerations?
If you’re pregnant, have heart or circulation issues, take medication, or are unsure about using heat, please check with your GP before booking. Your safety is our priority.
9. What should I expect in a session?
Step into the sauna, feel the warmth embrace you, and breathe. Pour a little water on the stones if instructed, and let the steam rise around you. Take your time, enjoy the calm, and let your body relax. For those doing contrast therapy with a lake swim, move slowly from cold to hot to let your body adjust naturally.
10. How do I cancel or reschedule?

-
Private sessions: Full refund (minus 2.5% bank fee) if cancelled more than 48 hours before your session. Less than 48 hours, non-refundable.
-
Social sessions/events: Non-refundable, though one reschedule is allowed if requested more than 48 hours in advance.
-
Special occasion or group bookings: Refund available (minus 2.5% fee) if cancelled more than 14 days before your session. Less than 14 days, non-refundable; rescheduling may be possible at our discretion.
